1998 | 'There's Something About Mary'

Diaz proved that there's actually something about Cameron when she took on the role of Mary, the girl-next-door who unwittingly makes men fall madly in love with her. The film earned her a Golden Globe nod for actress in a musical or comedy. She costars with raunch-comedy veterans Ben Stiller, Matt Dillon, Chris Elliot and Jeffrey Tambor in this Farrelly brothers flick. The infamous "hair gel" scene illustrated Diaz's willingness to engage in brazen physical comedy.
