Who they are: The Bravermans are one tightly-knit family with plenty of love and dysfunction to go around. Dad Zeek (Craig T. Nelson) and mom Camille (Bonnie Bedelia) are at the helm, constantly keeping their four kids, Adam (Peter Krause), Sarah (Lauren Graham), Julia (Erika Christensen) and Crosby (Dax Shephard), along with the grandchildren, in check. What the kids like: The grandkids often take center stage. Teens Haddie (Sarah Ramos), Amber (Mae Whitman) and Drew (Miles Heizer) bring plenty of drama, dealing with dates, drugs and college applications. Meanwhile, Adam's son, Max (Max Burkholder), struggles with Asperger syndrome and the challenges that comes with it. What parents can't get enough of: The realistic approach to family that proves living the American dream isn't easy. Job loss, surprise pregnancies and buried family secrets are just a few of the shockers that come their way.
