Woody Harrelson

In "The Messenger," your casualty notification officer wrestles with sobriety and the emotional stress of his job. What do you think happens to him after the film ends? "I think he goes on doing the same thing and probably gets sober and then drunk and then sober. The cycle keeps repeating, trying to keep it together and do his job. On the other hand, maybe he gives up the job and finally leaves his family, which is the Army, and heads off to Alaska. Maybe the last chapter of one's life is to soothe the soul."
