The ghost: Casper, a sheet-like specter, could be the the "friendliest ghost you know." That Casper is a dead child is never discussed, nor would you want it to be. He had trouble enough convincing potential playmates that he was good company. The TV phantasm had numerous incarnations, with an afterlife that was after-lived in theatrical shorts, comic books and on television. In 1995, he made his way to the big screen in "Casper" starring Bill Pullman and Christina Ricci. Boo who? Casper didn't haunt people so much as he liked to play. "Wherever he may go," ran his theme, "he's kind to every living creature." It was his heckling and haunting Ghostly Trio you needed to worry about.
