Just when we were almost ready to move past the whole Tiger train wreck, a new study came out that lets us plebeians know just how much the whole fiasco has cost the billionaire and the corporate behemoths who sponsored him. Considering that companies are dropping their deals with him like flies, we can be sure Woods will wave goodbye to a big chunk of the cool $100 million he was earning a year in sponsorships. For nine of his partner companies (like Nike, American Express and AT&T), the total comes out to roughly $12 billion, or a reduced shareholder value of 2.3%.
