WINNER: This one is kind of a tie. While shorter is usually better, 92 minutes of bone-crunching, artery-slicing torturing and screaming feels more like three hours. On the other hand, “HSM3’s” G rating ensures that everything that happens to these teenagers will never rise above the level of sweet vanilla. So…a short unpleasant jolt or a longer drive into boredom? I’ve always been a “rip the Band-Aid off” kind of guy, so “Saw V” wins this round.
