By Susan King, Los Angeles Times Staff Writer The mean, green fighting machine The Incredible Hulk is back on the big screen Friday. This time around, Edward Norton plays scientist Bruce Banner who, when the film opens, is trying to find a cure for his gamma radiation poisoning that transforms the beast within him as the Hulk. Created by Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, the character debuted in 1962 in a series of Marvel comics. Ferrigno, a fit and ripped 56, played a security guard in the 2003 film Hulk, as well as in this version. So here's the big question: How does Norton stand up against Ferrigno? Weve pitted these very different actors Hulk together in a variety of topics. Read Kenneth Turan's review of "The Incredible Hulk" here.
