Jennifer Aniston started out as the adorable, self-absorbed, Rachel Green on "Friends." With movies such as "Shes the One" and "Along Came Polly," Aniston was a romantic comedy magnet. Then she opted to play against type in the Clive Owen thriller "Derailed." Reviews were negative. As critic Emanuel Levy put it: We can accept [Vincent] Cassel as villain and perhaps Clive Owen as flawed hero, but certainly not Jennifer Aniston, TV's girl-next-door, as an alluring femme fatale.
