Politicizing the Olympics

WORST: Politicizing the Olympics Yes, the Olympics have a rich history of protests and boycotts in the name of politics, and this year has been no different, with protesters hoping to bring attention to alleged human rights violations on the part of China. But enough with the McCain and Obama political attack ads. The election is coming, we know. But can we save the attacks for the Republican and Democratic conventions? Right now, we’re just trying to enjoy some gymnastics. And swimming. And fencing. Fencing! This is the only time in four years we pay attention to fencing. Let us have this moment.
