There's a lot to like in Netflix's "House of Cards," including a surprisingly acidic Robin Wright and Kevin Spacey as a black-hearted master manipulator. But for all the machinations, Spacey's snide asides are doing more harm than good. With every oily observation his character gives us, any dramatic tension starts to fizzle as we're reminded there's no need to fret, everything is going according to plan.
