Before the release of "Tangled," Disney animation's 50th feature film, the company announced that this would be the last of its animated films based on a traditional fairy tale. Fairy tales have been very, very good to Disney animation, with everything from " Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" to "The Princess and the Frog" coming from the works of the Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen and others. But now that "Tangled" has raked in a worldwide gross of $230 million to date, maybe the decision to walk away from traditional fairy tales was a tad hasty? After all, the Brothers Grimm left behind an awfully big book of stories... --Patrick Kevin Day
