Grown men weep uncontrollably when Gary Cooper, playing Yankees baseball legend Lou Gehrig, gives his farewell speech at Yankee Stadium. He's dying of the disease that will carry his name, so when he tells the crowd he's the "luckiest man alive," it's impossible not to well up.
