How many times can people watch "It's a Wonderful Life" (pictured) around the holidays before they start to go mad? Or "Christmas Vacation" or even "Die Hard" (yes, it's a Christmas movie). Maybe it's time to select some new holiday classics. But how does one do that when the selection of Christmas movies changes so little from year to year? Let "The Twelve Days of Christmas" come to the rescue. The classic Christmas carol can be used as the guide to a whole new type of Christmas classic -- a slate inspired by the gifts in the song. The following films may not seem like Christmas classics, but seen in the order presented here, these 12 films are the closest anyone can come to re-creating the glory of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" right in his or her own living room.
