"Red Hollywood," written and directed by Thom Anderson and Noel Burch and distributed by Cinema Guild, takes a look at the films written and directed by the members of the blacklisted Hollywood Ten and reveal more political content than has been previously noticed.
"John Ford: Dreaming 'The Quiet Man' " is an Irish Film Board production distributed by Olive Films. It offers an intimate look at the career of the great director and how he came to make a film that was particularly close to his heart.
