Want a piece of Ryan Gosling?

Apparently all you need is $4,100.

That’s how much a red leather jacket worn by the hunky actor in “The Place Beyond the Pines” sold for last week. The piece of clothing, auctioned off to benefit Variety - The Children’s Charity of Southern California, was purchased by film producer Jeremy Rosen. Rosen beat out 39 other bidders for the prize, according to a representative for ArcLight Cinemas Hollywood, where the jacket is on display in the lobby.

Gosling, who plays a motorcycle stuntman in the drama, wears the Firstgear jacket in most of his scenes. In fact, the jacket became so worn on set that its lining had to be removed for the auction.

Rosen plans to display the jacket in a case in his office or home and said he would have spent up to $10,000 to win the jacket.

“I greatly admire Ryan Gosling, who, in my opinion, is quickly becoming the actor of our generation,” Rosen wrote in an email. “Plus the film is brilliant.”

“The Place Beyond the Pines,” which debuted in limited release last weekend, has grossed $886,459 playing in 30 theaters. And while the jacket can no longer be yours to snuggle with keep, fans can check it out in person at the ArcLight through the end of the week.
