The Bride, played by Uma Thurman, in Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill" had a pretty tragic wedding day. Her co-workers in an assassination hit squad massacred members of her wedding party, shot her in the head, and took her yet unborn child. All ordered by the father of her child.<br><br>

<b>Why it failed/how they broke up:</b> Obviously, the relationship that the Bride had with Bill was a bit damaged. After enacting revenge on each member of the hit squad who killed her, she ultimately found Bill and her daughter -- then she killed him.
