Twin Shadow postpones tour after Colorado bus crash

A member of the rock group Twin Shadow and the band’s tour bus driver are in the hospital after a bus crash last week.

According to a statement issued by the band’s representatives, drummer Andy Bauer and driver John Crawford remain hopsitalized after their bus collided with a tractor-trailer on Colorado’s Interstate 70 on Friday.

The band’s singer and songwriter George Lewis Jr. was also injured, and will be undergoing reconstructive hand surgery. The bus had 12 members of the band and crew aboard at the time.

Twin Shadow has postponed all tour dates between April 21-May 22. These dates include an April 30 stop at the Fonda Theatre in L.A. The band released its major-label debut “Eclipse” on Warner Brothers this year.

“The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated,” read the statement from the band. “The band and crew send a heartfelt thanks to everyone in Colorado and beyond who have helped through this difficult time.”
