The one-hour CBS special, “The Grammy Nominations Concert Live -- Countdown to Music’s Biggest Night,” will announce nominees in several categories and feature performances from Swift, Thicke, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Lorde, Katy Perry, Keith Urban and others.

For those planning to tune in on TV -- and didn’t bother to set your DVR -- the show will air live for the East Coast from the Nokia Theatre at 10 p.m. EST; a taped version will air on the West Coast at 10 p.m. PST. Pop & Hiss will, however, be covering it live as it happens.

After the nominees have been revealed, the Recording Academy will team with Atlantic Records to release the “2014 Grammy Nominees” album on Jan. 21. A portion of the proceeds from the compilation disc — which celebrates its 20th anniversary with the release — will benefit the Grammy Foundation and the MusiCares Foundation.
