Emmylou Harris, Vince Gill, Heart and Jason Mraz will appear together on March 4 as the annual All For the Hall benefit concert returns to Los Angeles to raise funds for Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Actress Rita Wilson will host this year.

This marks the 10th year of the event which brings together country, rock and pop musicians to raise money to help sustain the hall of fame and museum’s operations. The shows are modeled after the celebrated “guitar pulls” that Johnny Cash and June Carter held in their home, during which musicians would swap stories and songs in an informal setting.

Gill and Harris, both hall of fame inductees, are active supporters of the institution and have been regulars at the shows, which for the last seven years have taken place in Los Angeles or New York.

They spearheaded last year’s show in New York that also featured Jason Aldean, Rodney Crowell, Gregg Allman, Ashley Monroe, Joan Osborne and Pat Monahan. They also were at the helm in 2011 in Los Angeles on a lineup that also featured Zac Brown, Sheryl Crow and Kevin Cronin, and again the previous year in L.A. with Taylor Swift, Kris Kristofferson and Lionel Richie.

Others who’ve been in the lineups include Levon Helm, Patty Griffin and Dwight Yoakam.

The event, returning this year to Club Nokia in the L.A. Live entertainment complex downtown, also involves a VIP dinner before the concert, for which tickets run from $1,000 to $25,000 for tables of 10.

Tickets also are available for balcony seating for the concert only, running from $49.50 to $60 and will go on sale Jan. 31 on the AXS.com ticketing website.

Update at 9:55 a.m.: An earlier version of this post listed the date of the benefit as March 14. It takes place March 4.
