Want to spend seven hours with One Direction?

That opportunity comes Nov. 23, just days ahead of the release of the boy band’s third album, “Midnight Memories,” by way of a live stream during which fans will have the chance to interact with band members Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson.

“1D Day,” as it is called, will be streamed live from Los Angeles and will involve special guest appearances, sketches with the band, fan-generated videos and live broadcasts from different countries. The event will last for seven hours at the event website.

A statement issued Wednesday at the launch of the 1D Day campaign describes it as “the first live event of its kind, enabling fans from different countries and time-zones the chance to interact with the band throughout the live stream broadcast.”

It also promises that fans will have both “unprecedented access” to the group and that they will be “as big a part of the broadcast as the special guests and the band [members] themselves.”

One Direction enthusiasts can check the group’s social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and YouTube for more details on how to get involved. More information also is available at the group’s website.
