Santa Monica’s annual Twilight Concert series has set its 2014 lineup, and it’s in keeping with its history of reggae, world music and indie rock.

‘60s psych-rock favorites The Zombies, dub master Lee “Scratch” Perry and the Syrian singer Omar Souleyman are among the major headliners for the KCRW-sponsored series, which takes place on the Santa Monica Pier from July through September. Local heroes La Santa Cecilia and the Malaysian singer-songwriter Yuna are also on top-billed slots.

FOR THE RECORD: 2:53 p.m May 23: An earlier version of this story misstated vocalist Omar Souleyman’s primary instrument.

------------

On the indie side, the series includes sets from Cults, Cayucas and rising electro act Jagwar Ma. Soul veteran Charles Bradley will close the series out in September.

All shows are free, and take place at 7 p.m. on various Thursdays throughout the season. Fans can RSVP at the Santa Monica Pier site or DoLA.

After the Twilight Series, the Way Over Yonder folk music festival will again hit the pier on Sept. 26-27, though its lineup has yet to be announced.
