Looking back at 2010
2010, it appears, was the year books hit the tipping point. The release of the iPad, the continued success of the Kindle, the launch of Google Editions, which may take e-books (and e-bookselling) to a whole new level -- all this points to significant shifts in how we read. And yet, for me it was still, in the end, what's in the books, rather than how they are delivered, that remains important, the words and stories and ideas that continue to be what draws us to the written word. So here, in alphabetical order by title, are the ten books that, over the last 12 months, most moved, inspired or beguiled me: my favorite books of 2010.
