Does it matter that Angelina Jolie hasn’t starred in a Hollywood film in the past three years? Or that her latest film, “The Tourist,” alongside Johnny Depp, was a tad bit lackluster?

Nope, not really. The mother of six still earned the title as Forbes’ highest-paid Hollywood actress, with an estimated $33 million in earnings from June 2012 to June 2013.

Cha-ching!

Jolie, 38, beat Jennifer Lawrence ($26 million); Kristin Stewart, who topped the list last year ($22 million); Jennifer Aniston ($20 million); and Emma Stone ($16 million).

The estimates for Jolie and her counterparts are reportedly assessed through insiders close to the actresses, such as their agents and managers. And if it makes anyone feel better, the number doesn’t account for taxes deducted, agent fees or any other miscellaneous costs.

As for Jolie, the Academy Award winner will return to acting in next summer’s flick “Maleficent,” a retelling of Disney’s “Sleeping Beauty.” And she’ll do so in a big way. She’s “still one of the few actresses who can demand a paycheck north of $15 million for the right movie,” Forbes wrote, citing “Maleficent” as an example.

Back in 2011, Jolie demonstrated her directorial talent in the Bosnian war drama “In the Land of Blood and Honey.” Most recently, she publicized her decision to undergo a voluntary double mastectomy, telling all in a New York Times op-ed piece. The woman can do no wrong.

Jolie’s male equivalent as Forbes’ highest-paid Hollywood actor is Robert Downey Jr., who earned an estimated $75 million last year. Not so equal, actually.
