"Trouble According to Humphrey"

A hamster named Humphrey is a classroom pet in Room 26 of Longfellow Elementary. He helps Art and Seth with their problems and survives a trip to the vet.

But he gets Miranda in trouble. Humphrey is caught getting out of his cage by the custodian. Miranda is in charge of taking care of him. (No one knows that the lock doesn't lock.)

When everyone is looking, Humphrey opens the lock-that-doesn't-lock to clear Miranda. Then what happens?

Anyone who likes suspense should read this book.
