The film, which tells the story of a young boy searching for clues about his father, who perished in the Sept. 11 attacks, may have <a href="http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/movies/2011/12/do-sag-and-golden-globe-voters-have-enough-time-to-see-extremely-loud.html" target="_blank">hurt its chances</a> for a Golden Globe nomination by cutting it too close to voting deadlines.
