Alex Cohen and Jennifer Barbee By day, Alex Cohen is a mild-mannered radio show host and Jennifer Barbee is a diligent staffer at the WGA — but on the banked battlefield of the roller derby, they are better known as Axles of Evil and Kasey Bomber. New Politics The rambunctious Danish three-piece, which recently relocated to Brooklyn and unveiled its self-titled debut album July 13, treats the Southland to its high-energy sound. Ryan Trecartin The video artist’s film works are to narrative movies as a crumbling glacier is to the ice in your cocktail.
