'Love Actually' (2003)

( Universal Studios / February 13, 2013 ) If Hugh Grant dancing to the Pointer Sisters' "Jump" doesn't make you pass out, watch the scene where Mark (Andrew Lincoln) holds up cards as a way of proclaiming/sacrificing his love for Juliet (Kiera Knightly) to remain loyal to his best friend who married her. It was sweet, witty, romantic and honorable. |

This movie is my new Holiday favorite and will for all time be added to the classics.

Mark and Juliet make me cringe! Except for "Love" at the wedding, I cold do without that couple entirely. From the other, superior, threads, it seems harsh to pick a favorite but, to me, Jamie (Colin Firth) and Aurelia (Lúcia Moniz) are the most endearing. Jamie's proposal in Portuguese, at the end, is far-and-away the most swoon-worthy!
