( Patrick Wymore / Disney / April 20, 2012 ) On its opening weekend at Thanksgiving, "The Muppets" couldn't take the No. 1 spot away from the latest "Twilight Saga" movie, but it bested the competition of three other family-friendly films in theaters that weekend: "Hugo," "Arthur Christmas" and "Happy Feet Two." The Jason Segel and Amy Adams-starrer went on to earn $158 million worldwide and have a 96% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. |
