'Tru Calling' | 2003 - 2005

The ghost: There are many, but they aren't usually seen for long, as Tru Davies' (Eliza Dushku, pictured) power pretty much slingshots her back in time a day -- after a corpse/ghost asks her for help. The ghosts aren't malicious (mostly), just in need of assistance.

Boo who? Tru has the power to relive the last day before a wrongful (as she believes it to be) death has occurred. She works in a morgue, so it may happen often, but as her foil Jack Harper (Jason Priestly) posits: Is it really her duty to disrupt fate, or is she throwing it all out of balance? The ghosts don't seem to be debating it.
