Two movies. One weekend. Most will assess their success on box office tallies. We consider the films' finer points: star power, quotability and all-around coolness. May the best film win.

Two of the summer's biggest friend flicks face off this week. The ladies will no doubt rally around "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2," the follow-up to the 2005 hit about four friends who stick with one another through good times and bad. The guys will gravitate to "Pineapple Express," which celebrates the friendship that blossoms between a stoner and his dealer as they bond through a terrifying experience.

But lets look at these films without the gender filters coloring our view. Which film is truly the most awesome -- the one with the pineapple or the one with the pants?
