In 1982, Jackson's skin began to get lighter. Many speculated that Jackson was bleaching his skin, but he insisted that the change was the result of a disorder that destroyed the pigmentation of his skin.
The ever-changing structure of Jackson's face drew equal attention, and observers assumed that nose jobs, forehead lifts, lip-thinning procedures and cheekbone surgery were responsible. Jackson, however, denied having extensive surgery. |
