Star Power 'The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor' Brendan Fraser starred in both previous Mummy movies to the tune of more than $850 million worldwide, as well as starring in this summers modest performer Journey to the Center of the Earth and the Oscar-winning Crash. Despite those accolades, do you know anyone who calls themselves a Brendan Fraser fan? Jet Li is not as big a star in Hollywood as he is overseas, but his name recognition alone is enough to draw a crowd. Maria Bello was on ER and has gotten naked in more indie movies than one man can count. Though she doesnt get naked in this movie, so her young male appeal may be muted. 'Swing Vote' Once upon a time, Kevin Costner was Mr. Americana he built baseball fields, danced with wolves, solved the JFK assassination and romanced all kinds of ladies. Somewhere along the line probably when he made the wildly overbudget Waterworld he lost the adoration of the movie-going public. Hes been struggling to regain that love ever since. Little Madeline Carroll doesnt have the name recognition of Dakota Fanning, but shes already got an impressive resume behind her (she was on Lost, which automatically makes her cool). The rest of the cast is rounded out by recognizable names Kelsey Grammer, Nathan Lane, Dennis Hopper but no one youd line up just to see. WINNER: Despite the presence of Kevin Costners head front and center on the poster for Swing Vote, Jet Lis international appeal combined with Brendan Frasers stealth-blockbuster career puts The Mummy threequel into the lead.
