Christian Bale

Christian Bale Everyone’s favorite Batman began his career as a youngster over 20 years ago in Steven Spielberg’s “Empire of the Sun” and headed over to Disney for “Newsies” and “Swing Kids.” He tipped his toe into the R-rated pond with the unintentionally funny 1994 film, “Prince of Jutland,” which was released in the United States several years later on DVD. Directed by Denmark’s Gabriel Axel of the Oscar-winning “Babette’s Feast,” this silly-billy film is actually based on the Danish legends of “Hamlet.” Bale bares his butt and gets to engage in some hanky-panky with the opposite sex. Helen Mirren, Gabriel Byrne and Kate Beckinsale also star in the film.
