On Thursday, the long-awaited (by someone, right?) musical episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” premieres with the Seattle Grace doctors singing stale, touchy-feely pop songs that have been “at the heart of the show,” according to ABC.
In the episode, Callie (Sara Ramirez) is hurt in a car accident just as Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) is proposing to her. Callie has an out of body experience and watches as her friends try to save her, singing the whole time. Fans will hear “Chasing Cars” (Snow Patrol), “How to Save a Life” (The Fray) and “The Story” (Brandi Carlile), among other songs that have been part of the “Grey’s” soundtrack over the years.
