Jacobson described the opportunity to dive into TV as "creatively irresistible."
"There is so much great storytelling happening in TV right now, especially at FX," said the "Hunger Games" producer. "Color Force plans to approach TV the same way we do features -- by creating an environment in which singular voices can flourish."
First-look pact is exclusively for cable TV and the first pod deal for FX Prods. that wasn't established through a pre-existing relationship with the studio. FX Prods. currently has other deals in place with RCG Prods. and Floyd County Prods.
