LONDON -- Emily Stillman has joined Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in the U.K. as sales and marketing director, it was announced Wednesday.
Stillman takes on the newly-created role immediately with responsibility for marketing, business development and client services at the new £100 million ($158 million), 200-acre facility which opened in June. She will report to Dan Dark, senior VP and managing director of Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.
Stillman previously was CEO of the Production Guild of Great Britain, based at Pinewood Studios, following more than 16 years in film and TV production. She served as production manager on Ridley Scott's "Kingdom of Heaven" and "A Good Year," Richard Linklater's "Me and Orson Welles" and Kenneth Branagh's "Sleuth," among others.
Doug Liman's "All You Need Is Kill," starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt, will be the first production to shoot at the new Leavesden facility.
Warner Bros. bought the site after making all eight "Harry Potter" films there using temporary soundstages and facilities. The new permanent studio features nine stages, a heated underwater filming tank and a 100-acre clear-horizon backlot.
