Twentieth Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios have acquired feature film rights to Charles Schulz's "Peanuts" franchise. Untitled animated pic has a Nov. 25, 2015, release date. Date marks the 65th anniversary of the comic strip's debut. Schulz's comic strip was syndicated in 75 countries and inspired numerous television specials, including "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown." "Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!" helmer Steve Martino will direct the Fox pic.
