Kanye West may debut baby North pic on Kardashian mom’s talk show

Kanye West will appear on the Friday episode of “Kris,” the daytime talk show hosted by girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s mother, and will reportedly reveal a photo of his baby girl North West.

Stop us if you’ve heard this one before.

The rapper, 36, and his reality-star girlfriend, 32, have kept their offspring literally under wraps since her birth on June 15, appearing only a handful of times in public while concealing their child. They reportedly squabbled about how they would present their baby girl to the public: Kardashian is said to have wanted to do a splashy mag cover while West wanted to go the Jay Z-Beyoncé route of sharing a pic on social media instead.

The Grammy-winning rapper, who reportedly passed on being “American Idol’s” third judge, and Kardashian have been pretty adamant about keeping their baby out of the spotlight. However, this reveal seems to adhere to the Kardashian code.

Momager Kris Jenner, whose family has provided quite a bit of fodder for her show, is wrapping up her talker’s trial run on Friday. Her A-list guest host and his huge announcement are a sure way to ramp up interest — and ratings — for the fledgling show and potentially secure a place for Jenner in Fox’s daytime schedule.

The Friday show was filmed Monday and a picture of North was “flashed on the screen for a brief second, so no one in the audience could sneak a pic from the monitor,” according to TMZ. (It’s a shame not everyone has Kensington Palace at their disposal for such things ...)

The site reported that the picture will stay visible longer when the show is edited for airtime.

“North is very beautiful,” an audience member at the taping told E! News. “She has big cheeks, a lighter complexion than Kanye, but closer to Kanye’s color than Kim’s. She has straight black hair and almond eyes just like Kim. She has a round face and is really cute.”

Yeezus reportedly opens up quite a bit during the chat too, according to Perez Hilton. His sometimes tense relationship with his girlfriend’s mother has provided quite a bit of gossip fare, but in the interview the rapper is said to be forthcoming about life with his girlfriend, his new daughter and what it’s like living in Jenner’s home since North’s birth.

“[West] said he had decided he wanted to show the picture of North because they didn’t want to make money on the photo and he is fed up of paps following him around,” the audience member told E!.

Also, this isn’t the first time Jenner has pulled a stunt for increased viewership.

On the first episode of “Kris,” Jenner pulled a bait and switch on her audience, making it seem that she would debut her granddaughter when she walked out with a baby. It wasn’t North — it turned out that the child belonged to an on-set hair and makeup artist. It happened again a few weeks later when Kardashian told fans that she was going to “surprise” Jenner on the talker but only appeared on the show via video message.

Fool me twice ...

So what can we expect on Friday? We’re not sure, but the point is the Kardashians — and Kanye — are making us look once again.
