Trazodone is an antidepressant medication. It affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause depression. Used to treat depression, the drug may induce mood or behavior changes, anxiety, panic attacks, trouble sleeping and impulsive, irritable, agitated, hostile, aggressive and restless feelings.
