Conservancy Dinner Meeting
Filmmaker Greg MacGillivray will be the keynote speaker at the Laguna Canyon Conservancy's monthly dinner meeting at 6 p.m. at Tivoli Terrace, 650 Laguna Canyon Road. The Friends of the Hortense Miller Garden will have its annual meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the game room of the Community Center, 380 Third St. The group will show vintage videos of the garden and home. Refreshments will be served.

The Thurston Middle School PTA is holding its annual Book Swap. Community members can drop off unwanted age-appropriate books to Thurston until Wednesday. During the swap, sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders will be able to pick through the recycled books.
