Strawberry Farms Forever

The Toll Roads launches its 12th annual program of guided native habitat tours with a guided hike to the Strawberry Farms Restoration Site, a Toll Roads conservation area never before opened to the public. The restoration and bird watching hike will go from 8 a.m. to noon. The site is on 15 acres within the city of Irvine Open Space Preserve, by the Strawberry Farms Golf Course. ‘Hansel and Gretel’

As part of its Family Musical Mornings program, the Pacific Symphony presents a 45-minute performance of an operatic version of “Hansel and Gretel,” composed with kids in mind. Community Clean-Up

The ZeroTrash Corona del Mar chapter meets at 10 a.m. at Avila’s El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant, 2515 E. Coast Hwy., Corona del Mar, on the first Saturday of each month. TEDxUCIrvine Conference

Students at UC Irvine will present the campus’ first event, modeled on the TED conference, from 1 to 7 p.m. in the Claire Trevor Theatre. ‘Scape colLAborations’

‘The Internationalists’
