August: Osage County Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts were Oscar nominees for their first screen teaming, playing an estranged mother and daughter reunited by a family tragedy in the 2013 movie version of Tracy Letts’ play. 8 p.m. Showtime

300: Rise of an Empire Sullivan Stapleton, Eva Green and Rodrigo Santoro star in this 2014 retelling of the movie “300,” from a different perspective. 10 p.m. Cinemax
