Leave it to Emmy-winning thespian William Shatner to have a little fun at the expense of Sarah Palin. On more than one occasion, Shatner took the "Tonight Show" stage to perform the former vice-presidential candidate's speeches and writings as beat poetry. Eventually, O'Brien helped Palin get back at the "Star Trek" alum and she surprised him one night by reading from his memoir "Up Till Now." Much to Shatner's chagrin and the audience's enjoyment, she picked a choice excerpt, reading, "My whole being resonated with incredible feeling that I was going to go visit with an elephant on a starlit moonless night in Africa. And I was going to visit that elephant in my underwear."
