OK, so Britney Spears wasn’t a fan of how “Breaking Bad” ended. That’s all right, because Oscar winner and acting world Respected Wise One Anthony Hopkins has outed himself as an unabashed fan of the show from beginning to end.

Inspired to write series star Bryan Cranston after finishing a two-week binge of the entire series, Hopkins gushed that “you and all the cast are the best actors I’ve ever seen.”

The letter was posted by the “Breaking Bad” actor on his Facebook page, according to Business Insider, but has since been removed.

In the letter, addressed to Cranston, but intended to be shared with the cast and crew, Hopkins says, “Your performance as Walter White was the best acting I have seen -- ever.”

He continues, “I know there is so much smoke blowing and sickening ... in this business, and I’ve sort of lost belief in anything really. But this work of yours is spectacular -- absolutely stunning.”

After name-checking the entire core cast, Hopkins goes on, “Thank you. That kind of work/artistry is rare, and when, once in a while, it occurs, as in this epic work, it restores confidence.”

No doubt written with the strains of Badfinger’s “Baby Blue” still ringing in his ears from the show’s final scene, Hopkins continues, “That may sound like a good lung full of smoke blowing. But it is not. It’s almost midnight out here in Malibu, and I felt compelled to write this email.”

No doubt Mads Mikkelsen and the cast of NBC’s “Hannibal” are reading about Hopkins’ note and checking their own in-boxes, awaiting a kind word from the man who perfected Hannibal Lecter.
