Brad Pitt yodels with Fallon while Channing Tatum jams with Kimmel

There must be something in the water in Hollywood.

On Tuesday, two of Tinseltown’s hottest leading men, Brad Pitt and Channing Tatum, got extremely weird on the late-night airwaves.

Tatum was the first to unfurl his freak flag on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” where he appeared in double-entendre-laden video called “(I Wanna) Channing All Over Your Tatum.” It featured one of the catchiest R ‘n’ B hooks since “Motherlover” and a bevy of stars including Jamie Foxx, Olivia Munn, Gabourey Sidibe and Miley Cyrus -- but alas, no Justin Timberlake or Andy Samberg.

Meanwhile on “Late Night,” Pitt took a more minimalist approach, starring in an absurdist bit in which he and host Jimmy Fallon shared a yodel conversation across the rooftops of New York City.(Pitt: “Hey, crazy idea... you wanna try a double yodel?” Fallon: “A double yodel? But that’s never been done before.”)

All the goofing-around proves at least one thing: Promoting a movie is more demanding than ever.
