Jimi Hendrix: Electric Church John McDermott’s new concert documentary chronicles the rock legend’s largest U.S. performance at the Atlanta Pop Music Festival in July 1970, dubbed “the Southern Woodstock.” With color footage of Hendrix’s never-before aired set, the film features interviews with Paul McCartney and Hendrix’s Experience bandmates Billy Cox and Mitch Mitchell. Songs include “Hey Joe,” “Voodoo Child,” “Purple Haze,” “Room Full of Mirrors” and “The Star-Spangled Banner.” 9 p.m. Showtime
