CBS wants more people to hop in James Corden’s carpool.

The bubbly British-born talk host will gain wider exposure later this month with “The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special,” including the premiere of an in-car sing-along with Jennifer Lopez.

Corden has slowly turned the “carpool karaoke” into his own viral signature, even more popular than the show that spawned it. The bit features Corden behind the wheel with a pop star riding shotgun, as the pair (loudly) sing hits from the star’s songbook. Stevie Wonder and Elton John are among those who have shown up.

His carpool karaoke with Adele, posted in January, has since racked up more than 84 million views on YouTube and introduced Corden to many people who don’t watch late-night TV.

Lopez will join Corden for the premiere of a new carpool karaoke. The rest of the special, airing at 10 p.m. on March 29, will feature clips from Corden’s first year on “Late Late Show.”
