Fans who want to get the dirt about "The Office" finale need not ask Mindy Kaling. She was there to film a cameo, but she ain't talkin'.

David Letterman tried to get the former co-star of "The Office" to spill the beans during Monday's "Late Show With David Letterman" about some of the surprises in store--specifically if Steve Carrell, who used to star in the show, returned.

But when Letterman pressed her on whether Carrell would appear on the finale, Kaling attempted to dodge the question, saying she "wasn't certain."

Then she quipped, "To be perfectly honest, I was drunk out of my mind."

She also added that she had signed a confidentiality agreement with NBC, so she couldn't say anything even if she remembered. "I don't want to be sued."
