“The Following” Ryan and Parker (Kevin Bacon, Annie Parisse) are furious when the FBI makes Nick Donovan (Mike Colter) lead investigator as the search continues in a new episode of this violent thriller. 9 p.m. Fox

“Dallas” The family learns the cause of J.R.’s death in a new episode of the recycled drama. 9 p.m. TNT
