How to Get Away With Murder The legal drama ends its first round with a two-episode season finale. The first hour, directed by Laura Innes, depicts the night Lila died through flashbacks. Viola Davis stars. 9 p.m. ABC

The Verdict Paul Newman earned an Oscar nomination for his superbly controlled performance as an alcoholic Boston attorney in director Sidney Lumet's gripping 1982 drama. James Mason plays the lawyer's opponent in a medical malpractice case that involves the Catholic Church. Jack Warden and Charlotte Rampling also star. 7 p.m. TCM
